On December 1st, the commemoration of the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Zheshang Association and the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up was held at the Hangzhou International Expo Center. At the meeting, the Zheshang General Association newly established ten special committees such as the Equity Investment and Mergers and Acquisitions Committee, Mr.Chen Yuemeng, the Chairman of Zheshang Venture Capital, was awarded the Presient of the Zheshang General Association by Jack Ma, Chairman of the Zheshang General Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alibaba. Mr. Yuan Jiajun, Governor of Zhejiang Province, Mr. Xiong Jianping, Member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Minister of United Front, Mr.Shen Guojun, Executive Chairman of the Zheshang General Association and Chairman of Yintai Group, and Mr. Xu Guanju, Advisor of the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce all attended the meeting.
Mr.Xiong Jianping, Member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Minister of United Front, delivered a speech at the meeting. He pointed out that under the leadership of Chairman Jack Ma, the Zheshang General Association has gradually become a bridge for exchanges, hoping to make the Zheshang General Association a Zhejiang merchant service platform, the association should serve and expand Zhejiang merchants.
Jack Ma, Chairman of the Zheshang General Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alibaba, also delivered a speech. He believes that Zhejiang merchant has developed from a group into a culture. For Zhejiang merchants, we must dare to face the uncertainty of the future. Turn uncertainty into certainty and find solutions to the difficulties of the current economic situation.
Subsequently, Jack Ma, Shen Guojun and other guests awarded the license to the ten new special committees established this year. Chen Yuemeng took the lead as the first President of the Equity Investment and Mergers and Acquisitions Committee.
It is understood that the Zheshang General Association's Equity Investment and Mergers and Acquisitions Committee was initiated by Zheshang Venture Capital, Chen Yuemeng as President, Yin Guojun, Chairman of Yintai Group, as Honorary Chairman, Wu Chenggen, Chairman of Zheshang Securities, He Xiangdong, Chairman of Paradise Silicon Valley Asset Management Group and Zhang Guohua, President of China Everbright Bank Hangzhou Branch, served as Executive Chairmans. The committee is established in a complicated and volatile economic situation that both at home and abroad are facing the difficulties of development of the real economy and the financial investment field has entered the “l(fā)ow tide period”. It has gathered a number of well-known institutions such as investment institutions, banks, law firms, and entities, focusing on equity investment and corporate mergers and acquisitions to provide special consultation and services for member units.
At the meeting, a signing ceremony for the establishment of a stable development support fund for listed companies was held. Chen Yuemeng on behalf of Zheshang Venture Capital signed a contract with Zhemin Ventures, Zheshang Industry and Finance Group, Provincial Financial Holdings，Caitong Securities and other units. In addition, 12 Zhejiang merchants such as Xu Guanju and Lu Weiding won the 2018 Global Zheshang Gold Award.
